DELTA Ukraine has joined the Ukraine Cities Partnership for Sustainable Local Recovery, an initiative led by the German Marshall Fund of the United States. The program connects Ukrainian local expertise with partners from Europe and the United States to support resilient recovery in small and medium-sized cities.
Korosten as the first pilot
Korosten in Zhytomyr region will serve as the first testing ground. The partnership aims to turn local priorities into implementable projects and then adapt successful methods for other communities that have major reconstruction needs but limited access to international technical support.
A multidisciplinary partnership
DELTA Ukraine contributes design, engineering, project management, construction management and implementation experience. The broader group includes AECOM, Deloitte, BDP, Autodesk and other organizations covering urban planning, infrastructure, governance, finance and delivery.
Digital preparation of reconstruction
Autodesk acts as lead technology partner and provides tools for planning, design coordination, visualization and engineering workflows. Better digital preparation can reduce conflicts between disciplines, improve cost estimates and give municipalities and investors a clearer view of project readiness.
From concepts to financed projects
The value of the initiative will depend on whether strategies become bankable, sequenced projects with responsible owners, budgets and maintenance plans. For investors and development institutions, this approach can create a more transparent pipeline while helping communities preserve local needs in internationally supported recovery.
