The main goal of the commission is to prepare and submit for consideration to the Ukrainian parliament legislative initiatives regarding the protection of investors' rights, ensuring equal protection of the rights, interests and property of subjects of investment activity, regardless of the form of ownership. Also, one of the main functions is an effective investment in the Ukrainian economy and the development of international economic cooperation and integration.
The main tasks of the commission are:
- the implementation of parliamentary cooperation with business associations and specialized structures;
- collection and analysis of information for holding parliamentary hearings on cases of violation of business rights by the authorities, violations of investors' rights through abuse of the provisions of the current legislation.
