Digital Apparel Store Founded by Ukrainians Raised $2 Mln

Startup DressX, founded by Ukrainians Darya Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova in 2020 in the U.S. announced about raising $2 mln. This startup is developing a virtual clothing store, where you can choose and buy yourself "digital updates"

To get your photo in digital clothes, you need to upload a photo of good quality, with good lighting, without harsh shadows and wait 1 day to process it. The store offers items that exist only in electronic versions, as well as clothing items that have real prototypes.

The investment was raised in a seed round, with The Artemis Fund and Alpha Edison as lead investors. Unlock Venture Partners, One Way Ventures, TLF Ventures, Startup Mavericks, and Signal Peak Ventures also participated in the round.

The DressX team plans to spend the funds raised on scaling and developing sales across different channels.
