On August 8, the German media Handelsblatt revealed one of the biggest secrets of the century: who bought 50 Leopard 1A5 tanks for Ukraine. Some experts believed that the buyer was the Netherlands or Belgium, but it became known that it was Rheinmetall.
"The tanks are now to be repaired at the German plants of the concern with headquarters in Dusseldorf for use in Ukraine," Handelsblatt.
It is known that Rheinmetall actively participates in the life and victory of Ukraine: it opens a plant for the production of tanks in Ukraine and in Poland — for the repair of tanks for Ukraine. In addition, the CEO of Rheinmetall was in Ukraine during the full-scale war.
