Dnipro. Faces.

One of the victims in the Dnipro lain under the rubble for 20 hours and could not call for help since she was mute from birth

On January 14, Russia committed one of the most horrific terrorist attacks against Ukrainians: a Russian rocket destroyed a residential high-rise building. 39 people were released, among them — Kateryna Kulak-Zelenska. She lay for 20 hours under the rubble of the house at sub-zero temperatures. Kateryna could not call for help because she was deaf and mute from birth.

"She and her husband, Oleksii, have been deaf and dumb since birth. They have been together for more than 10 years. She spent 20 hours in the cold in the same top and leggings. Oleksii and their very young son are under the rubble," Yulia Kolomiets, Kateryna's friend.

The fate of Katheryne's family is unknown. Perhaps the son and spouse can still be saved.
