Dnipro Region Is on Fire by Borders

The occupiers are shelling the borders of the Dnipro region. More than 20 people are injured and killed

In May, Russian military fire strikes on the borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region acquired new intensity. Villages located on the borders with the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, and Kherson regions are shelled almost every day. Occupiers strike without motive. They rarely hit military positions. Often — on residential buildings, infrastructure, and power lines.

On May 20, the occupiers fired multiple-fire shells at residential buildings in Velika Kostromka. There were no casualties, but several houses were destroyed. People’s roofs are destroyed, and facades are broken.

On 19 May, Russian forces fired guided missiles and opened fire from multiple rocket launchers. Houses and two people were injured in the ground shelling. People went to the hospital and were treated. Three houses are non-renewable. 24 houses were damaged, but habitable. The cars of residents were also smashed.

2 rockets aimed at the area, injured one person. The woman was injured by a fragment from a missile that was shot down by the air defense. Another missile destroyed the infrastructure.

On the same day, Ukrainian defenders recorded a violation of the rules of warfare. The Ukrainians found two cluster munitions on the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian war criminals launched a missile attack on a bridge in the center of the city Dnipro.

There are no occupants in the region, but since 24 February, five people have been killed and more than 15 injured by enemy actions.
