Before the Russian occupation in 2014, Donetsk city was the wealthiest city in Ukraine, and the region was Ukraine's most potent industrial region. Today, thanks to the efforts of the Kremlin, there is no water in Donetsk, people are dying of hunger and infections, and those who do not like this state of affairs are deported to Sakhalin.
