The main indicators of this year's budget are an increase in salaries for doctors. According to the decree of Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the minimum wage for doctors next year should be at $740, for nurses at $500.
Shmygal reminded that the average monthly salary in 2022 will be $565.
Prime minister said that the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2022 fixes the exchange rate of hryvnia to dollar at $28,6-28,7 UAH/dollar.
In general, the budget priorities remain an increase in spending on the army, infrastructure, medicine, education and social programs.
"We are budgeting for the preparation of the nationwide census. This census will be unusual, we want to conduct it using emergency technologies", stressed Shmygal.
The government will approve the draft at a meeting on September 15 and immediately submit it to the parliament.
