According to Bloomberg, the EU decided to transfer the macro tranche to Ukraine and from the €1.2 billion aid package as soon as possible. The decision to phase out this emergency package was made in early 2022.
Because of Russia's attack on Ukraine, the provision of the third tranche of the total amount will be accelerated. On May 11, the process will be completed, and in the coming days, Ukraine will receive money for the restoration of infrastructure, the economy, and humanitarian needs.
We remind you that the first 2 tranches of €300 million each were received on March 11 and 18.
