On June 30, the Ministry of foreign affairs of Finland announced the provision of a financial tranche to Ukraine in two areas: humanitarian aid and cooperation between states.
"Finland has decided to provide an additional 70 million euros for development cooperation and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. Finland's long-term development cooperation in Ukraine focuses on education, the rule of law, energy, and climate resilience," the Ministry said.
We remind you that from the beginning of the war until today, Finland has donated about €20 million to Ukraine for humanitarian and defense programs. Finland also became a refuge for 28.000 Ukrainians who fled from the war.
