On October 25, 2021, EPAM, one of the largest Ukrainian IT companies, announced the opening of an office in Kherson. The company also starts working with two universities in the city.
EPAM systems is an American IT company founded in 1993. It's a custom software manufacturer, consulting specialist and resident of the Belarusian high technologies park. The company is headquartered in Newtown, Pennsylvania with offices in more than 30 countries around the world.
Office in Kherson
- Now the specialists of the company, who are in Kherson, will be able to work on projects together with colleagues in the new premises. This office is located in the city center, in the business center on the street and designed for 30-40 people.
- According to Serhiy Garashchuk, head of EPAM Ukraine in the southern region, the company does not force employees to return to their offices. But according to the results of an internal survey, a hybrid format is most suitable for the team: work from home plus work in the office.
- The company also announced the beginning of cooperation with Kherson State university and Kherson National technical university on educational projects. In total, the company is currently cooperating with 30 Ukrainian universities.
