This marks the first delivery of equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces under the IT coalition, which focuses on enhancing the country's military communications and cybersecurity capabilities.
The NATO Support and Procurement Agency facilitated the efficient procurement of laptops, monitors, and other communication tools. These supplies are set to be distributed soon to various divisions, enhancing tactical communication and planning capabilities.
Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Transformations, Kateryna Chernogorenko, expressed gratitude towards the coalition for their swift and decisive action. "The transferred equipment will substantially improve our forces' communication capabilities at the tactical level," she stated.
The IT Coalition, under the leadership of Estonia and Luxembourg within the Defense Contact Group of Ukraine ("Ramstein format"), aims to support the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces in IT, communications, and cybersecurity. The coalition has already gathered financial and material contributions totaling over 36 million euros, with an additional 23 million euros expected.
