In memory of the heroism and courage of the Ukrainian people, Estonia put into circulation a €2 coin, on the eagle of which is a Ukrainian girl and the signature Slava Ukraini (Glory to Ukraine — ed.). Now every European, holding this coin in his hands, will be able to cheer himself up with the words "be brave, like Ukraine."
"It is symbolic that a few weeks after Ukraine became an EU candidate, #SlavaUkraini is now on the euro. The Central Bank of Estonia has unveiled a €2 coin designed by Ukrainian refugee Daria Titova from Kharkiv. A daily reminder in our wallets of Ukraine's struggle for freedom," Estonian prime minister Kaia Kallas.
We remind you that the city of Kharkiv, from which Darya Titova had to flee, is shelled daily by the Russians.
