“Etsy” Launches in Ukraine

The largest platform of craft production “Etsy” is now available for Ukrainian entrepreneurs and buyers

The minister of digital transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, wrote in Telegram that Etsy, one of the largest global marketplaces, has started working in Ukraine. This means that from now on, Ukrainian shops can register online pages on Etsy, sell goods, receive service support, and use Etsy purchase protection for transactions. More than 90 million people worldwide use Etsy's online platform to buy handmade products, craft products and vintage objects.

"With the launch of Etsy Payments, this is changing – Ukrainians can officially open shops on the platform, sell goods to people from America, Europe, Asia and so on," said Fedorov.

The minister noted that before the beginning of cooperation, Etsy showed solidarity with Ukraine on the issue of protecting our territories and opposing the military aggressor Russia. After the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Russian army in Ukraine, Etsy called on its users to cooperate with Ukrainian sellers.
