"The European Council agrees to establish a Solidarity Trust Fund in Ukraine and invites the participation of its international partners and calls for preparations to begin without delay. It encourages the Commission to continue to provide technical assistance to help Ukraine implement the necessary reforms."
According to the plans, the fund in the long term will serve as the basis for the restoration of a free and democratic Ukraine after the cessation of hostilities.
"Europe must understand that if it loses Ukraine, it will never be the same as before. Europe without Ukraine will no longer be Europe. Rather, it will be a symbol of failure, humiliation, and helplessness. And I want a strong and ambitious Europe," said the prime minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki.
