On August 28, the Ministry of economy announced the completion of the II stage of negotiations with the European Union within the framework of the Ukraine Facility 2024-2027. The pace of Ukraine's reformation directly affects the time frame for Ukraine to become a full member of the EU.
"At the previous meeting, we agreed on the structure and distribution of topics. Now, we focused on the form. The plan will consist of several key blocks, including macro-financial reconstruction scenarios, basic and sectoral reforms, priority sectors for development, increasing investment absorption capacity, and cross-sectional topics — European integration, digitalisation, regional development and climate," minister of economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko.
Currently, the Ministry is finalising work on a conceptual note, which will become the basis for future negotiations with international investors, businessmen and philanthropists.
The Ministry distinguish "justice, anti-corruption policy, anti-money laundering, public administration reform" as the main areas for reforms.
