Extraordinary Meeting of NATO Member States

On March 24, a NATO meeting will be held in Brussels, at which the Ukrainian issue will be raised

Head of the office of the president of Ukraine Andrii Yermak during a video meeting at the Royal Institute of International Affairs Chatham House shared his thoughts on the upcoming meeting.
“There is still time to take concrete steps towards Ukraine. Or say honestly and publicly that there will be no such steps. That NATO is refusing to join Ukraine, and not she refuses to join, as many want to file recently. Say it and start building a new security system,” says Yermak.

The main issues that concern the office of the president now are the timing of the opening of a full-fledged lend-lease, as well as the provision of weapons that will allow Ukraine to remain an independent state within recognized borders.

Also, according to Yermak, the Russian leadership should stop confusing Ukrainian peacefulness with weakness.
