The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi signed a law on the creation of drone units. On January 27, the general staff of the armed forces of Ukraine confirmed the adoption of the corresponding decision. It is reported that there are no such military formations in the world.
The army will have to endure several changes. First, there will be legislative reforms. Second, increased production of unmanned aerial vehicles. The Ukrainian command has already taken another step. Ukraine's general staff analysed the attack branches' work and selected prospective servicemen in this industry. They will be designated as heads of units throughout the country. During the initial phase, new units will receive drones, ammunition, Starlink stations, and other equipment.
To implement the project, the drone army will involve the ministry of defence, the ministry of digital transformation, the general staff of the armed forces of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian military school Boryviter.
The Russian war destroys buildings and kills people in Ukraine. But the aggressor cannot destroy Ukraine globally. The country, suffering from the aggressor, is only getting stronger.
