Today, an honoured guest arrived in Ukraine — the first lady of Lithuania, Diana Nausėda. The purpose of the visit of the first lady is to participate in the summit of first ladies and gentlemen, which is organised on the initiative of Olena Zelenska, the first lady of Ukraine. This is the second summit: the first was held on August 23 in Kyiv.
The arrival of his wife in Kyiv was announced by the president of Gitanas Nausėda on Twitter.
"First Lady of Lithuania, my wife Diana, has arrived in Kyiv. The world's heart today beats in Ukrainian. Ukrainian heroes have made us all a bit Ukrainian. We must stand with Ukraine as here the struggle decisive for freedom and independence of us all goes on," Gitanas Nausėda.
This summit will discuss the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war, education reforms and the keys to optimising humanitarian services for Ukrainians.
We remind you that Gitanas Nausėda was in Kyiv on April 13 in the company of Andrzej Duda, Egils Levits and Alar Karis. Also, German president Frank-Walter Steinmeier was supposed to come, but due to some (already resolved and left in the past) misunderstandings, the visit did not occur.
