On April 22, the head of the minister of the economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko and the French delegation headed by Clement Bon met in Kyiv. The ministers discussed France's interest in participating in Ukrainian business and the investment climate for private foreign entrepreneurs.
"This year should be the year of the beginning of the country's recovery. And our state is extremely interested in the participation of entrepreneurs from France in this process. We see the interest of French business in such cooperation. Ukraine offers investment opportunities in industries with significant development potential and can be competitive globally. We are also actively working on risk insurance programs, which should guarantee the investor's investment safety," Yulia Svyrydenko.
Minister Svyrydenko informed the visiting delegation about projects implemented by the state and key sectors for investment.
Taras Kachka, the deputy minister of the economy of Ukraine, informed the French side about logistics issues with the European Union and current requests in the field of trade with the participating countries.
The Ukrainian side involved Clement Bon to discuss France's participation in war risk insurance, as Japan recently did.
