French Cyber Security Company Opens an Office in Ukraine

Having offices and R&D centers in 56 countries around the world, “Thales” continue its expansion

The French company Thales, which specializes in the development of high-tech products for defense and security, will soon open its office in Ukraine. According to the Ministry of digital transformation, this became known after the meeting of the minister of digital transformation Mykhailo Fedorov with representatives of the company in Paris.

According to the Ministry of digital science, Thales is already actively working on opening an office in Ukraine and even appointed a director — Serhiy Romanets.

“Representatives of the company noted that they are interested in the Ukrainian market and they see great potential for the development and application of their cybersecurity products,” the Ministry said.

During the meeting, the parties discussed various aspects of tools created on the basis of artificial intelligence, digital documents and cyber security.

Thales is a global technology leader with more than 81,000 employees on every continent. Thales Group invests in the digital and "deep tech" innovations — connectivity, big data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and quantum technologies — that are crucial to the development of a society where humans are at the heart of the decision-making process.

The company’s products, services and solutions support businesses, governments and organisations in five major markets: digital identity and security, defense, investing-in-ukraine/business-opportunities/aerospace/" rel="dofollow">aerospace, space and transport.
