The visit of the head of the Ministry of foreign affairs of France, Catherine Colonna, is a signal of state support for Ukraine.
"Just arrived in Ukraine to express France's support for the Ukrainian people," Catherine Colonna wrote on Twitter.
"The minister for European and foreign affairs, Catherine Colonna, is making her first trip to Ukraine today, to Kyiv. With this trip, the minister wants to demonstrate France's solidarity with the Ukrainian people and its full determination to strengthen support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression, both in humanitarian and financial terms and in the supply of defense equipment," the French MFA said.
Also on the schedule of Catherine Colonna is a visit to Bucha. Recall that a few days earlier Sanna Marin visited Bucha and Irpen. Next, the Colonna will meet with the Ukrainian MFA Dmytro Kuleba. One of the main topics will be the blocking of Ukrainian grain by Russia.
