Qonto is a new business that serves small and medium businesses and self-employed persons. The service provides such services as banking, accounting, and expenditure management.
On the Ukrainian market, the idea is released jointly with the Ukrainian software company WeSoftYou. First, the Neobank plans to hire one team and, in the future, open a development office in Ukraine.
In December 2021, ruby on rails developers' vacancies have been opened. The main team is based in France, but Qonto has experience hiring people from other European countries.
By 2025, the company plans to enlarge the user’s number to one million and the number of employees from 500 to 2.000.
On 12 January, it was reported that Qonto had raised $552 million in the D round. This was one of the largest rounds in French history. The last round for €100 million was won two years ago — in January 2020. Altogether, the startup got over $700 million in funds. The service’s estimate has risen to $5 billion.
