The system collects data on the movement of cars at special sites throughout Ukraine. The developers assure that they have made a system and regulations that will protect honest carriers. The statistical error will not be able to affect the work of honest carriers.
"The main goal is not to impose fines, but to motivate carriers to adhere to the rules of integrity in their work. This will ultimately benefit everyone," said deputy minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Mustafa Nayyem.
Other innovations that came into force on October 1:
- the parity responsibility of participants of the freight market is established;
- the responsibility for non-fulfillment of lawful — requirements of inspectors of the State security service on transport increases;
- liability for refusal or evasion of dimensional and weight control is introduced;
- the administrative responsibility for transportation of passengers and cargoes without necessary documents increases.
