These deliveries are part of a substantial order worth over 100 million euros aimed at enhancing Ukraine's defensive measures against aerial threats.
According to HENSOLDT's CEO, Oliver Dörre, the urgent need for these advanced radar systems by Ukrainian forces has accelerated the delivery. The TRML-4D radars utilize cutting-edge AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) technology, allowing for the swift detection, tracking, and classification of approximately 1,500 targets within a 250-kilometer radius. This capability extends to various air threats, including cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, aircraft, and helicopters, thus significantly improving the operational effectiveness of Ukraine’s air defense system.
