German Investments in Ukraine. The Most Technologically Advanced Plant for Dry Building Mixtures in Eastern Europe to Appear in Ukraine

KREISEL, which is engaged in the production of dry building mixes and decorative coatings, is expanding its production capacity. The company has started the construction of its second plant in Ukraine. The investments in the plant will amount to €10 mln.

KREISEL acquired a land plot of 5 hectares for the construction. This is the second plant the company has opened in Ukraine. The first one was built in Fastov in 2008.

The new plant  KREISEL BUILDING MATERIALS LLC will start operating in February 2023, and about fifty Ukrainians will be able to work there. Investors explained their confidence in Ukraine by the previous positive experience of cooperation.

The new plant KREISEL and its technology will meet the latest and most modern standards, which, in turn, will provide all customers in western Ukraine with building materials of the highest quality and without harming the environment.

"As an international German investor operating in 20 European countries, we are clearly aware of our responsibility for the local economy, our partners and customers, our employees and above all for the environment. And we are glad that here, together with you, we are laying the foundation stone of our plant," said Michael Kraus, director of the Eastern European region of FIXIT GRUPPE.

According to the leaders of the Ukrainian representative office of the company, in parallel with the Lviv project, they conducted a complete modernization of the plant in Fastov, having updated it with the latest technology. We also launched a new line for the production of liquid construction mixtures. However, if the Fastov plant has a capacity of 130 thousand tons per year, the Lviv plant should reach a capacity of 170 thousand tons. Consequently, the new plant is expected to become the company's largest enterprise in Eastern Europe.

KREISEL was founded in 1976 in Wiesbaden, Germany, and since 2005 it has been a part of the FIXIT GRUPPE. KREISEL products meet all European and Ukrainian standards and are in high demand due to their quality and unique German recipes. FIXIT GRUPPE concern unites five European brands: FIXIT, GREUTOL, HASIT, KREISEL and RÖFIX, owns 67 production and sales offices in 18 European countries and 52 enterprises.
