Germany Delivers New Aid Package to Ukraine With Leopard Tanks and Patriot Systems

The German government has provided a new batch of military assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to an official statement on the German government’s website

The package includes modern tanks and air defense systems, among other key equipment.

    • 15 Leopard 1A5 tanks with ammunition
    • 30 MRAP mine-protected vehicles

    • IRIS-T SLM and IRIS-T SLS SAM systems

    • 12 Zetros trucks and 8 Zetros tankers
    • 68 drones
    • AIM-9L/I-1 Sidewinder guided missiles
    • 52,000 155 mm artillery shells
    • grenade launchers, machine guns, and rifles
