A list of military aid to Ukraine has appeared on the German Ministry of defence website. It included:
- 10 Leopards 1А5;
- 20 MG3 machine guns for tanks and armoured vehicles;
- 155 mm shells;
- Smoke ammunition;
- Bridge installation systems;
- 12 trailers and 16 trucks;
- 10 radar systems;
- 100.000 medical kits;
- Other.
Also, at this time, Ukrainian soldiers are being trained on American M1 Abrams at the German training grounds. The course is designed for 12 weeks, and 8 of them have already passed.
In addition, Rheinmetall received an order from the German MoD to manufacture hundreds of thousands of ammunition to compensate for the shipments of shells transferred to Ukraine.
