Undermining the Kakhovka dam is the largest man-made disaster of the century in Europe. And again in Ukraine when the wounds after Chornobyl had not yet healed. And again, through the fault and desire of the Kremlin.
Greta Thunberg retweeted a post from the official channel of Ukraine Ukraine/Україна about the dam explosion and the consequences that this act has now and in the long term. And commented:
"This ecocide as a continuation of Russia's unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine is yet another atrocity which leaves the world lost for words. Our eyes are once again on Russia who must be held accountable for its crimes."
Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on Greta's post and thanked her for her participation in covering the issue:
"Thank you for your position and for upholding the truth Greta Thunberg! Russia must be held accountable for all its evil against people, life and nature!"
