General director of Bimbo QSR Ukraine Igor Mariash noted that now the company's invest.com/investing-in-ukraine/starting-business-in-ukraine/build-an-enterprise/" rel="dofollow">enterprise is located in the Dnipro, but these capacities are becoming insufficient. This will make it possible to create 200-300 jobs for Ukrainians. The total investment is planned at about $30 million.
The plant is going to build lines for the production of buns, as well as tortilla and toast bread, which are currently not produced in Ukraine.
According to the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, Bimbo QSR Ukraine was registered in 2000 by the Dutch Bimbo QSR B. V in Dnipro with an authorized capital of ₴297.000 (around $11.000).
The Grupo Bimbo is represented in 33 countries, owns 196 factories, and has a network of 3 million points of sale worldwide. The bakery holding produces about 13 thousand names of products under more than 100 brands.
