On September 8, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, by the grace of God the Queen of this Kingdom, and Her other Kingdoms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith, died.

Buckingham Palace said this morning that amid the deteriorating health of the Queen, Her Majesty is under medical observation at her beloved Scottish holiday home in Balmoral. Princes Charles, William and Harry went to Balmoral. The Royal physicians described Her Majesty's condition as "comfortable" and recommended Elizabeth remain under medical supervision.

Just now, with the code phrase "London Bridge is Down", it was reported to the new prime minister Liz Truss that the Queen had passed away at the age of 96. 

"The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow," The Royal family. 

Elizabeth has been on the throne for 70 years since February 1952. She was crowned on June 2, 1953. During the reign of Elizabeth II, 15 prime ministers changed: from Winston Churchill to Liz Truss, who was appointed on September 7, 2022. In June, Her Majesty celebrated her Platinum Jubilee.

It is known that the memorial ceremony was planned during the life of Elizabeth and in accordance with her preferences.
