Holland Allocates €180 Mln Energy Aid to Ukraine

The state will provide the equipment necessary for the restoration of the energy structure broken by Russia

The Dutch government has decided to allocate €180 million to restore Ukraine's critical infrastructure destroyed by Russian artillery and drones. The assistance package will include transformers, switching spares and cables needed for the restoration of energy structures of Ukraine.

Russia daily shells specific energy hubs of Ukraine. As of today, 8 global attacks led to the destruction of 50% of the energy infrastructure of our country. The biggest problem today is the lack of materials and components for repairs. Therefore, the Netherlands and several other countries are providing us with the necessary spare parts and generators.

Now the Netherlands and the European Commission are developing logistics for the delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The route and final destination, of course, were not disclosed.
