On June 19, Olena Zelenska arrived in Israel. Collaborating with the Ukrainian embassy in Israel and the Ministry of foreign affairs, the first lady managed to introduce a Ukrainian audio guide to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Remembrance Center.
"A place that everyone should visit in order to understand the scale of the crime and, at the same time, the heroism of those who opposed it. It is here that we launched the 66th Ukrainian-language audio guide so that every Ukrainian can rethink the tragic experience, taking into account their own history," Olena Zelenska.
Yad Vashem preserves the memory and names of millions of persecuted and murdered Jews, evidence of a crime against humanity. Therefore, the Ukrainian language, which sounds in the temple of pain and justice, is a powerful support for Ukrainians. After all, we are now also being killed just because we are Ukrainians.
