How Much Ukraine Has Earned from Privatization Since 2022 and What It Plans to Sell in 2025

Ukraine has received UAH 14.8 billion in revenues from small and large privatization between 2022 and 2024. The government plans to further boost this figure with a new wave of privatization in 2025

Privatization Revenues from 2022 to 2025

  • 2022: UAH 1.7 billion (small privatization only)

  • 2023: UAH 3.2 billion (small privatization only)

  • 2024: UAH 9.9 billion

    • UAH 3.49 billion from small privatization

    • UAH 6.45 billion from large privatization

In 2025, Ukraine plans to raise an additional UAH 3.2 billion from the sale of state assets. As of April 22, the state has already collected UAH 249.96 million from small privatization sales and related payments.

What Ukraine Plans to Sell in 2025

Currently, 21 large privatization objects and 1,378 small privatization objects remain listed for sale.

Key upcoming auctions include:

  • June 11, 2025: Sale of the state-owned stake in PJSC Sumykhimprom.

  • June 18, 2025: Sale of State-owned Construction Company Ukrbud.

Potential future privatization objects also include:

  • Odessa Port Plant JSC (privatization postponed from 2023)

  • LLC Investment Union Lybid (owner of Ocean Plaza shopping mall in Kyiv)

  • LLC Demurinsky Mining and Processing Complex

Regional Leaders in Privatization

In 2024, the city of Dnipro led the privatization rankings, while Chernivtsi was recognized as the top organizer of lease auctions. A total of 147 cities announced privatization auctions last year, generating more than UAH 1 billion from online sales.
