Minister of the interior Ihor Klymenko went to Polish Rzeszow for talks with the minister of the interior and administration of Poland, Mariusz Kaminsky. The ministers discussed the humanitarian and military needs of Ukraine. Klymenko had a chance, on behalf of all Ukrainians, to thank Poland and its wonderful people for the help they sent at lightning speed in response to the Kakhovka tragedy. As soon as the water from the Kakhovka reservoir began to drown towns and villages, the Ukrainians received boats for evacuation, generators, tank trucks and pumps for pumping water from the Poles.
"Help was needed precisely in those days. Our Polish colleagues responded quickly and provided it on time. Therefore, once again, we want to thank the entire Polish people for the help they have been giving us since the first day of the war, and in any problems accompanied by the war," Ihor Klimenko.
Today, Klymenko is creating a specialised headquarters in case the invaders blow up the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
