Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), confirmed his arrival in Ukraine on social media, noting that he has already had discussions with Ukraine's Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko and Energoatom President Pyotr Kotin. He emphasized the IAEA's full commitment to the safety and protection of Ukrainian nuclear facilities, highlighting his upcoming visit to the ZNPP. This visit marks his fifth to the station and his tenth to Ukraine since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion.
