The governmental service of Ukraine for food safety and consumer protection has published the number of invest.com/investing-in-ukraine/starting-business-in-ukraine/build-an-enterprise/" rel="dofollow">enterprises that were able last year to import their products into the EU. It should be noted that the EU commission carried out official audits during the year. In total, two audits were carried out in a year:
- Monitoring and certification of dairy products and milk;
- Inspection of a microbiological contamination control system for non-animal products.
In 2021, among 380 organizations, 162 Ukrainian producers brought food products abroad. The remaining 218 enterprises transported non-food items to European countries.
Compared to last year, more companies gained access to the foreign market. Moreover, in 2022, the Governmental service of Ukraine for food safety and consumer protection, after a pause related to the coronavirus epidemic, resumed cooperation with some countries. Thus, since 2021, 81 groups of Ukrainian goods can again deal with foreign marketplaces in 21 countries worldwide.
Despite this progress, work on opening up foreign markets is still ongoing. In Ukraine, in particular, work with Malaysia, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Ethiopia, and others.
