As analytical reports for the last 2 years (20202-21) show, the difference in income from the sale of domestic metal is cardinal. Compared to the same period in 2021, when export revenue amounted to $19.575 million, as of January 2022, Ukraine received almost $1 billion.
According to the State Customs Service, in January 2021, the share of ferrous metals in the export of products from Ukraine amounted to 18.98%.
The increase in the level of export of metal products from Ukraine as of January 2022 amounted to 90.1%, which in numerical terms is equal to $121,262. At the same time, in December last year, Ukrainian metal products were exported for $128.729 million.
Import of products also increased by 49.5%: $116.609 million in December 2021.
