Ukraine's Ministry of internal affairs has published information about the increasing demand for electric vehicles in Ukraine. As of the end of May 2023, there are already 57.000 electric vehicles in Ukraine, which is 2.128 such cars more than in April 2023, and 7.688 more than on December 31, 2022. The choice of Ukrainian drivers falls on green cars not only because they are environmentally friendly but also because, in our country, there are favourable customs conditions for such cars: only €1 for 1 kW of engine power.
Based on the increasing number of motorists in Ukraine, there is an acute need for a developed system of EV-charging stations for home and public use. Today, electric chargers from ABB, Schneider and Ukrainian manufacturers UGV Chargers, YASNO E-mobility, and Toka are presented in Ukraine, but the market is still vacant for new participants.
