After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the extraction of strategic raw materials in our country, coal, fell by 30%.
This was stated in an interview with the minister of energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko. The minister said the state had lost control of two Ukrainian mines, Zolota and Toshkivska. As a result of Russia's barbaric raids and non-compliance with industrial technology, these mines are currently in a state of complete flooding and cannot be rebuilt.
"At the same time, there are issues regarding coal production and shipment. There are shellings of railway tracks and it is not always possible to take them out. Previously, the export could be carried out around the clock, now only in the afternoon," Herman Galushchenko.
PD-1 mines are also at risk of flooding due to bloody Russian policies.
