Interest in hybrid vehicles in Ukraine has surged dramatically, with almost 2,400 hybrid cars registered in July, marking a 56% increase compared to the same period last year. According to the Ukravtoprom Association, this growth highlights the rising popularity of environmentally friendly vehicles in the country.
Among the newly registered hybrids, the Toyota RAV-4 emerged as the most popular model, with 345 units sold, followed by the Toyota Camry with 96 units, and the Toyota Yaris Cross with 73 units. These figures underline Toyota's strong presence and appeal in the Ukrainian hybrid car market.
In the used car segment, the Ford Fusion US topped the list with 94 registrations, indicating a high demand for imported used hybrid vehicles. The Toyota RAV-4 continued its popularity in this category as well, securing the second spot with 63 units, while the Kia Niro rounded out the top three with 56 units.
This significant rise in hybrid car registrations reflects a growing awareness and preference among Ukrainian consumers for vehicles that offer both fuel efficiency and reduced environmental impact. As the country continues to embrace greener technologies, the hybrid car market is expected to see further growth in the coming years.
