The International legion is a special unit of the International Defense Legion of Ukraine, which is subordinate to the Main intelligence directorate of Ukraine. In March 2022, more than 20.000 experienced fighters from 52 countries joined the International legion; the largest number came from Poland, Scotland, Greece, Brazil, Colombia, the USA, and Sakartvelo.
