Deputy prime minister for the reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov said that international organisations and donors finance the restoration of 85% of infrastructure projects in Ukraine. About half of the funding Ukraine receives from the European Investment Bank and is allocated thanks to EU guarantees.
"That is, the EU is already involved in the process of rebuilding Ukraine," Oleksandr Kubrakov.
Today, one of the biggest obstacles to maintaining the economy is logistics, so the state has concentrated on the development of cross-border infrastructure. As of today, 2 new customs points have been opened on the border with Romania, and 2 more with Romania and Poland in the plans. The ongoing work to expand the capacity of the Danube navigation remains essential.
