On May 31, DPR "president" Denys Pushylin gave an interview with Russian journalists and media of the occupied territories. He announced that the republic would have a navy. To create a navy is planned as early — with the help of stolen equipment and territory. It is known that at the time of the capture of Mariupol by the Russian army, there were 6 vessels of other states in the port of Mariupol, not to mention the Ukrainian ones.
"Some of the courts will come under the jurisdiction of the DPR. The relevant decisions have already been taken. These ships will be renamed. The flags that will be on them are also clear," said Pushylin.
So, the head of the terrorist organization that captured part of the Donetsk region Pushilin does not hide the fact of embezzlement of alien ships.
There are 6 foreign vessels in Mariupol:
- Tsarevna (Bulgaria);
- Azburg (Dominican Republic);
- Smart (Liberia);
- Blue Star (Panama);
- Azov Concorde (Turkey);
- Lady Augusta (Jamaica).
All of them will be used to transport cargo and restore Mariupol.
The representative of non-legintimate self-proclaimed "defense ministry" also supported Pushylin. He stated that the countries where the ship-owning companies were registered had not taken steps to remove the vessels from the port. The question remains, in whose hands did Mariupol fall. And how can the unrecognized Donetsk People's Republic nationalize the ships of other countries? Note that the DPR is not part of Russia and has no signs of a true republic.
