According to the National Bank of Ukraine, from the beginning of 2022, the export of IT services from Ukraine brought foreign exchange earnings to Ukraine for $3.179 billion. It is worth noting that even during the war, the export of digital products from Ukraine increased: in March-May 2021, the profit was $1,7 billion, and in March-May 2022 — 6% more. The indicators of the first quarter of 2022 also showed an increase: $2 billion in export profits and maintaining the level of 96% of exports of IT services in March, covered by aggressive war.
"Remaining an economic pillar for the state in wartime, the IT business pays taxes in good faith, and some companies even transfer them in advance. As of June 1, 2022, IT companies and individual entrepreneurs working in the IT industry transferred tax payments and fees in the amount of UAH 29.5 to the consolidated budget of Ukraine," IT Ukraine association.
