The Japanese company Crown Agents Japan Limited is going to provide the Ministry of health of Ukraine with a grant of 300 million Japanese yen (≈ $2,223.219). The funds will be used for the purchase of endoscopes. Thus, more Ukrainians affected by the war will receive quality medical care.
The minister of health of Ukraine said that today's healthcare system is one of the 2 busiest today. Firstly, all the doctors available in Ukraine today either save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield (at the same time risking their own lives) or treat thousands of military and civilians wounded in the rear. Secondly, the Russian army destroyed 177 medical facilities and damaged 1.433.
In the 446 days of Russia's full-scale attack on Ukraine, hundreds of doctors have been killed in the line of duty.
