Japan Provides Agricultural Vocational Schools of Ukraine with Modern Equipment
Twelve agricultural vocational education institutions across Ukraine have received modern agricultural machinery from Japan under the second phase of the grant program “Urgent Improvement of Equipment for the Provision of Educational Services.”
The delivery, coordinated with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), included:

Disk harrows

Cultivators
-
Seeders
These were distributed to vocational schools and colleges in Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions.
Boosting Education with Technology
By March 2026, participating agricultural lyceums, colleges, and schools will also receive:

Interactive panels

Desktop computers for IT classrooms
The aim is to enhance the quality of training, give students access to modern technologies, and align Ukrainian agricultural education with international standards.
Long-Term Japanese Support
Japan has consistently supported Ukrainian education since the start of the full-scale war, focusing on:

Developing digital infrastructure

Strengthening vocational training
In previous stages of the grant program, JICA supplied equipment for digital education centers and training laboratories, particularly in agricultural disciplines.
This initiative is expected to significantly improve the practical skills of future agricultural specialists, contributing to Ukraine’s food security and rural economic development.
