On April 26, PM Ukraine Denis Shmygal and president of Italy Sergio Mattarella visited the Rheinmetall Italia S. p. A production. The PM stated that the production facilities of Ukraine are ready to cooperate with Rheinmetall in the field of manufacturing spare parts for air defence systems.
"We are expanding the horizons of cooperation between Ukraine and Italy in the military-industrial complex. We are considering the possibility of joint production of components for these systems. We are working to have more such effective air defence systems. They will create a reliable shield around our strategic infrastructure facilities," Denys Shmygal.
Thus, Ukraine can effectively protect its population and infrastructure from Russian missiles and drones.
We remind you that during the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Italy on April 26, Georgia Meloni announced that she was ready to contribute to the early start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
