It is noted that the company has enough empty areas for the construction of, for example, solar power plants. As Longobardo noted, such a possibility is being considered.
"The main thing here is to understand the effectiveness of the technology. Seasonality and weather conditions, the number of sunny days in Kryvyi Rih are important," he explained.
In order for the plant to work, Longobardo added, 450 MW of power is required.
According to him, the company would also be interested to analyze the acquisition of Kryvyi Rih TPP during the sale of its thermal power plants
Kryvorizhstal is the largest mining and metallurgical enterprise in Ukraine, which was privatized 15 years ago by Indian billionaire Lakshmi Mittal. Later it was renamed from Kryvorizhstal to ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih.
