Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds has announced the transfer of 500 drones to Ukraine, further bolstering the country's defense capabilities amid ongoing conflict. This delivery is part of the broader drone coalition initiative, aimed at supporting Ukraine's military operations.
"The next batch of drones is ready! About 500 Latvian-made drones will support Ukrainians in various combat missions," Spruds shared on X (formerly Twitter).
These drones, manufactured in Latvia, will be utilized across a range of combat missions, enhancing the Ukrainian military's ability to conduct surveillance, reconnaissance, and tactical operations. This contribution underscores Latvia's continued commitment to supporting Ukraine in its efforts to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
